Fiscal Responsibility
Position
A key concern of Chamber members is the dramatic increase in federal deficit. Member after member expressed in the 2012 survey that the deficit is their most serious concern and that children and grandchildren are being saddled with a horrible burden and perhaps one that will be unsolvable. The federal government must operate within its means, reduce spending and resist the temptation to increase taxes.
